The room was a little small, and the towels were quite thin. The sink is outside the bathroom, so the floor tends to get wet. I booked a standard double with a king bed, and it had the necessary toiletries. It’s very convenient for Taipei Main Station’s M6 Exit, with a McDonalds downstairs.

Check-in is at 4pm, and check-out is at 12pm. The hotel is inside a building, so it can take a moment to find, but for this price there was nothing to complain about. The room and toilet were very clean, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Taipei Main Station is a short walk away, with endless food choices nearby. I’m giving it five stars for the value, not because it’s a luxury five-star hotel. For what I paid, it was perfect.

I booked through Agoda, then noticed within minutes that I’d chosen the wrong dates. I contacted Agoda right away and tried emailing and calling the hotel several times over more than 48 hours, but heard nothing back. This was an honest mistake, not an attempt to abuse the cancellation policy. I was even willing to rebook for the correct dates in March (21-23 and 26-29). I understand the policy might be “non-refundable”, but basic customer support and a simple reply would still be expected. The silence made a straightforward date correction very difficult. I hope the hotel gets better at responding to guests, especially when a problem is reported immediately after booking.
