Spring City Resort

We spent about an hour and a half at the hotel’s hot spring pools without staying there. They provided towels, slippers, a cap, and bathrobes. There were nine pools at different temperatures, some with bubbles and some with jets. Such a lovely experience, and very child friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.

It was quiet and pleasant, and the service was exceptional. I left my phone behind, but they brought it out to me right away. I’m a first timer at hot springs, and friends had told me they might help with blood flow, muscle aches, joint pains, and jet lag. I’m not sure whether all that’s true, but I think I’ll come back before my Taipei trip ends. Highly recommended.

I booked the hot springs at the last minute through Klook. The pools were hot, the hillside view was nice, and the place itself was pleasant. They supplied towels, slippers, and a cap, and the service was great. There’s also a free hotel shuttle from the MRT. Go on a weekday if you want to avoid crowds.

The resort is hard to get to, but thankfully there are free shuttles from Beitou and Xinbeitou MRT stations. Our room was excellent, with a private hot tub in the bathroom that you can fill with hot spring water. The service was good. There’s a pool and gym for an extra charge, plus a restaurant if you want to eat there. The buffet breakfast was delicious too.
