The room was very clean and suited two people well, with enough space for a couple or a pair traveling together. Housekeeping seemed to come every other day, and the shower heater worked really well. Taipei Inn is conveniently placed for convenience stores, local shops, and popular markets. I’d definitely recommend it.

No towels were provided, but the room was reasonably clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is hard to beat. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in, and I’d come back if I visit again.

It’s an okay place for a short visit if all you need is somewhere to sleep. Taipei Inn is handy for getting around the city, but the rooms are quite small and there isn’t much in the way of amenities. Don’t expect much comfort or many facilities.

There’s easy access to food around Taipei Inn, including halal options, which I found without trouble. It’s also walkable to MRT Taipei Main Station. A good spot if you’re exploring Taipei, and one I’d recommend.

For about NT$1,200, I got the best budget private room I’ve had in Taipei. It’s a five to seven minute walk from Taipei Main Station, and the room had plenty of space for one person. The bed was comfy, but the big, spotless bathroom was the highlight, with a strong hot shower and a bidet. There’s also a free coffee, tea, and hot water dispenser in the hallway, which was a lifesaver. It felt like a three-star hotel. I’ll stay here whenever I’m back.
