The Dealer Hotel

We spent nine lovely days here. The receptionist we nicknamed uncle welcomed us as soon as we arrived and surprised us with a gift. They also provide free drinks every day, which was a big help since there’s so much walking in Taiwan. Taipei Main Station and Beimen Station were both 5-10 minutes away, making getting around easy. There are two 7/11s and a Japanese laundry shop nearby, and I’d suggest trying the local breakfast shops across the street. They’re 10/10. Much love from 🇵🇭

The hotel is a good deal during high season and doesn't break the bank. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated the free coffee and tea for guests. There’s a convenience shop right across the road, and the hotel is not far from the airport trains, with an underground corridor connecting it to the main station.

The hotel was really dirty. I can't tell whether it had been cleaned after the previous guests, but there was lots of hair on my pillow and in the bathroom. It didn't look like the room had been vacuumed in a long time.

There’s a 7-Eleven directly across the street, plus a self-serve Dolby (Mrs. White), night market, and train station nearby. For a small hotel, they’ve made things work well with a 24-hour water dispenser and free coffee on the ground floor all day. My room was clean, with a large bathtub, a TV with lots of shows, a storage cabinet, and soap and shampoo dispensers. There was no table or floor mat. The air conditioning is centralized, so you can open or close the vent but can’t adjust anything else. That was okay for a compact hotel.
