The hostess was warm and helpful, spoke pretty good English, made us coffee each morning, and drove us to the train station for a small fee. The location just off Taitung's main streets is a big plus, as are the service and value, even though the inn has few amenities. It's a small, privately renovated place. The rooms look recently redone, though the work seems a little cheap. I'd strongly recommend it for a romantic trip or a small family stay.

For what it costs, it was reasonably decent, and the staff were very nice and suggested things to see nearby. The hotel is a bit run down and the rooms could use updating. It's easy to miss the entrance since you go in through a garage.

Restaurants and everyday shops are within easy walking distance, and the owner was exceptionally kind and helped us a lot. The place is about a seven-minute drive from Taitung Rail Station and offers an upper-class-feeling stay at a mid-range price. Don't be put off by the indoor garage on the first floor. The rooms are impressively spacious, with luxurious bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a gorgeous view of Taitung city and Taiwan's Center Mountains. It's one of the first private settings of this kind in Taitung.

We could walk to several great places to eat and a convenience store. Our room had a porch overlooking the city and mountains, plus a mini fridge, water boiler, tea cups, and complimentary tea. The beds were comfortable, and the place had modern amenities, an elevator, good wifi, and a TV. It was a great stay.

We had no complaints. The rooms were beautiful, the beds very comfortable, and the modern bathrooms and showers were clean. Wi-fi was fast, and the location made it easy to get around. We loved staying here, thank you!
