The hosts are lovely people, and the home-cooked food is delicious. It's a very nice bed and breakfast in a cool location.

The owner was welcoming, and the home-style food was delicious. The rooms are simple but spacious and comfortable, and the grounds have lovely flowers, trees, and shrubs. It's a good value for the money, though it isn't a luxury resort. It's pet-friendly, and even the staff dog will show you around 😁 This probably won't suit travelers looking for a five-star, high-quality experience. Since it's in a valley, driving there calls for a little caution.

The relaxed pace around the estate was lovely, and I'd come back if I get the chance. It rained all day during our visit, though, so we didn't get to see the valley at its best. The hospitality from Uncle Qiu made us feel at home. We checked in after 10 pm, and he came out to meet us, worried we might be thirsty or hadn't eaten, and told us to take a hot shower and rest. He said the room charge could wait until the next day, as if he were an elder in our own family. After breakfast he even urged us not to rush our checkout and to stay as long as we liked. We brought three medium-sized dogs. Uncle Qiu didn't charge any cleaning fee and warmly encouraged us to let them walk and pee around the estate. It's a pet-friendly guesthouse, with an adorable short-legged Shiba named Duoduo and lots of stray cats in the mountain area that Uncle Qiu also cares for. Uncle Qiu's pickled mustard greens were so good that I wanted to eat all the stock in his fridge 😂, but I felt bad eating them for free, so I bought a few packs to take home. The peach enzyme drink was tasty, and the dried fruit and fried pumpkin showed Sister Ayu's good cooking.
