The bathroom is outside the rooftop bedroom, so mosquitoes could get in when you use it. The room itself was roomy and clean, and there’s a convenience store close by. You can park by the roadside, and Shimen Reservoir South Parking Lot is about a 10-minute drive away. They only take cash.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the hostess was kind and helpful. But the bathroom being out on the balcony meant there was no privacy. It was tiny, and the shower pressure was so strong that clothes got soaked even when hung near the door. The thick curtain on the room door still let people see inside from the balcony. The place looked completely different from the review photos.

Coming back to Wushi B&B this summer felt like coming home. I’d stayed with friends on a northern Taiwan vacation about six months earlier, and when I took time to visit family this summer, I made a special trip to book another stay. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the surroundings were quiet. Thanks to the owner for being so thoughtful ❤️❤️

Being close to Shimen Reservoir makes this a handy base for anyone who likes nature and outdoor activities. It’s quiet here, away from the city rush, and a good place to put the phone and daily routine aside and just rest. The rooms are simply furnished but comfortable, with air conditioning that kept things fresh and helped me sleep well even on damp, chilly winter days. For a relaxing night’s sleep, it’s good value.
