We booked two rooms for two nights, but the place was so run down and dirty that we moved to another hotel. There was mildew or mold in the bathroom and on the air vents, and the condition was horrible. Only stay if you need somewhere cheap and can put up with filth.

The room had a bad smell, and the staff were unprofessional. You have to get your parking validated before you leave, but the front desk person was asleep and nobody there could help. I'd told him the night before when I needed to leave for my flight. I ended up searching another building until someone from the kitchen helped, but it cost me 30 minutes and I nearly missed my flight. Avoid it.

There were ants all over the room, on the cabinets, walls, floor, and even the bed. The toilet was fairly clean, though ants were in there too, and I saw spiders as well. Breakfast was decent.

The service was really nice, and breakfast was good, though there wasn't much to choose from. I was in building A, with breakfast served in building B just across from it. My room, booked through Agoda, was large and had a bathtub. It's about a 12 minute walk from Zhongli train station. The building is old and rusty in places, but the room was clean and the price was lower, with breakfast included.

The beds were comfortable, and the receptionist and the room service aunties were friendly, quick to help, and really enthusiastic. I stayed two nights. The lobby made a good first impression, but there was a cigarette smell in the room and burn marks on the floor. It's in a rather ulu spot, far from transport, though there are several good places to eat nearby, like MEE SUA.
