Joyfultel

Before flying out of Taiwan, I spent a day and night here. After more than a week traveling around and staying at different hotels in Taiwan, this was easily the nicest one. The room was big, modern, clean, and had a comfortable bed. A lot of the other beds I'd tried in Taiwan were very hard. The staff were friendly and professional, and helped arrange an airport transfer when I arrived. The location worked well for the airport and getting into the city, with major train lines close by. There were lots of good restaurants in the area, plus a Family Mart and 7/11 within a 2-minute walk.

We had a great breakfast each morning, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly, which made the stay very pleasant. Highly recommend!

This was my second stay, and I love it. It's basically a place for wary, worn-out travelers to unwind, recharge, and have a 1-1 moment. Special thanks to charming big boss Jason Lee for his meticulous care, and to the attentive front-of-house ladies and cleaning attendants.

After two weeks at Joyfultel, I felt like a local. The room looked just like the website photos, with beautiful wooden floors, and it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was a 24/7 lounge on the first floor with complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks, open for everyone to use. The basement had a fitness center, pool table, table tennis, foosball, and even a Nintendo Switch. Free washers and dryers were a huge plus for families. The location was unbeatable for everyday needs, with restaurants and convenience stores only steps away. I especially liked a nearby breakfast shop open from 5:30 PM to 11:30 AM, where I could get a traditional Taiwanese breakfast at 3 AM when jet lag hit. I travel often, and Joyfultel is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. It's not officially a 5-star hotel, but the personalized service was better than at many well-known international brands. The staff went out of their way to make me feel at home, with real care and attention to detail. This local gem made for a memorable stay, with comfort, convenience, and an authentic local experience.
