We slept well here: the room was clean and comfortable, and the soundproofing generally worked, though we occasionally heard bits of hallway conversation. The staff were helpful and polite, and the service was good. There aren’t amenities like a pool that you might expect at a four-star hotel, but I can still recommend Just Sleep Ximending. Breakfast had limited cheese, spreads and jams, and cold cuts, but there was a decent range overall and what we tried tasted good. I especially liked the cashews, real honey, yoghurt, vegetable dishes, mushrooms, salad, kimchi, pork dishes, and three kinds of fresh fruit, which changed daily.

The location made getting around easy: Just Sleep Ximending is right in Ximending, directly outside Ximending Underground Mall Exit 5, with an elevator that was handy for our large luggage. I stayed four days and three nights, and had a very pleasant time. Chi, Johnny, Dia, and Nancy were proactive and friendly, and their warm smiles made the stay nicer. The housekeeping team were friendly and polite too, and kept the room consistently clean and well maintained. I also enjoyed the varied breakfast, especially having different choices of meat and noodle dishes.

The hotel cost more than similar places, but I was quite satisfied after four nights. Our room and bathroom were both spacious, and there was room to open two suitcases for packing. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast options were good each morning. It was easy to find, with Sushiro and a Sanrio-themed 7-Eleven below, plus nearby lift access from Ximen Metro Mall's Exit X5. Ximending and Taipei Main Station were easy to reach. I can recommend it for a trip with a partner or friends.

Ximending is right across the street, but the hotel itself is conveniently placed away from the area's noise and bustle. There are plenty of good massage places nearby, along with a 7-11. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The lobby snack bar is free and stays open until midnight, with coffee and snacks, and the breakfast spread was amazing. I stayed six days and really enjoyed the food, which was delicious and not the usual cheap, unhealthy stuff. Honestly, 10/10.

Breakfast had lots of variety and everything was fabulously tasty. The tables were clean, and plates and utensils were cleared promptly, making it easy to go back for more. At reception and during the morning breakfast service, the staff were warm and friendly. A special mention to Ms Nindi, who patiently helped us when we weren’t sure how to use the coffee machine. She was right there by the dispenser, smiling and approachable. It was a delightful two-night stay at "Just Sleep" @Ximending. Thanks to the other staff who smiled with us too!!! 😊 😀 🫠 - #Singapore Tourists.
