Beitou Resort Metro Inn

We had a comfortable 11-day stay with our child. The metro is right nearby, well lit, and felt safe to walk around. Staff can also give you a free token to enter if you say you're heading to the inn. The last train is at 12:40am. The hotel is a good fit if you want somewhere near nature with a family-style feel. Cleaning is done daily, and they can help arrange a taxi to the airport. The pool is indoors and opens from 3pm; there are also billiards, sports facilities, a gym, and a convenience stall. Laundry is easy, with free washers, dryers, and detergent. Wi-Fi is free in the rooms. Breakfast depends on the day. Weekdays, it's a MOS burger with a tea egg, plus coffee, tea, and biscuits from 7:30 to 9am. If you miss it, they call to ask if you'd like to pick it up later, which we did every day. On weekends, there's a simple buffet with MOS burgers, coffee, and orange juice. Our room was clean, and I liked that towels, bath mats, and slippers could be replaced daily when needed. There were no toiletries, but basic things like a hairdryer and hangers were provided. The hairdryer is basic, so if you use a Dyson, bring your own travel one. I missed mine. There's a kettle, though I hardly used it because hot and iced water were available in the pantry. No mini fridge in the room, just one in the pantry, which I wish had been in our room. The bed was medium-soft, the pillows were soft, and there were four per bed. The air conditioner worked fine, though the fan gets noisy on high.
