Such a comfortable stay, with a lovely view and a great bathtub!

We needed more than two days and one night to enjoy all the indoor and outdoor areas, so I hope I can stay longer next time. What a fantastic guesthouse. The owner put millions into creating it, and it really shows. The kids’ playroom and outdoor electric vehicles make it great for the whole family!

There’s lots of natural light from the big floor-to-ceiling windows, and the soundproofing is excellent. Every room has a balcony with a beautiful view, and there’s a playroom that’s great for kids. Everyone in our group was very happy with the trip.

The room itself was okay, but we had little privacy both before and after check-in. When we arrived in the afternoon, the housekeeper was still there, and even an hour or two after our 3:00 PM check-in, they were in the guesthouse preparing breakfast for the next day. In the morning, the housekeeper came in early to make breakfast noisily, and cleaning staff entered at 8:00 AM without saying anything, even though checkout wasn’t until 11:00. The staff and housekeeper were around all morning, leaving us with no private space during our time there. I’ve stayed at many guesthouses, and this was the first time I’d had a housekeeper making breakfast inside our guesthouse.

I’m giving the two stars for the room comfort. It was a terrible trip, and the house and operator made it exhausting. One of the two housekeepers was very unfriendly and had a terrible attitude. We weren’t told about the 3,000 NTD deposit before check-in, and the place looked very different from the photos. It was so dark outside at night that we nearly fell into the water. One double room’s bathroom leaked into the room. After checking in, we read reviews online and were shocked. We were too scared to even touch the microphone. After using the living room and putting the kids to bed, we were only given a small broom, so the adults had to kneel down and wipe the floor, tables, and chairs ourselves. There were lots of children with us, so we took a video after cleaning to avoid misunderstandings. The charges were also confusing. We were six adults and seven children, ages 11, 10, 4, 3, 2, 2, and 1. We first booked two quadruple rooms at 5,880 NTD each and two double rooms at 4,280 NTD each, for 20,320 NTD total. The operator initially said there would be no extra charge for children who didn’t use a bed or eat, but hadn’t told us beforehand that children over three would need a bed and incur extra charges. That meant we would actually be charged for six adults and four children, ten people total. We then changed to booking the whole building, five rooms, for 21,500. Two four-person rooms with extra beds, which were basically sofa beds with thin mattresses, added 1,600 each, 3,200 total, bringing it to 24,700. We asked them to remove those beds because five rooms were enough. The operator said the four-person room was already booked and they wouldn’t charge us for it, but would charge an extra 1,000. That would make it 22,500, or 21,500 for the five rooms plus 1,000 for each extra person. Breakfast was for ten people. We asked the operator to put the room away, but they said otherwise, they wouldn’t charge us, and then charged us 1,000 without breakfast. This part was really unclear. Before booking, the operator hadn’t explained the fees, deposit, or other details. When we arrived at Terminal 2, we wanted to ask the operator and auntie about the charges, especially for the children, but the auntie was really rude. After finally speaking with the owner by phone, the bill came to 21,500 yuan: a 10,160 yuan deposit for all five rooms, a final payment of 4,840 yuan, and a 6,500 yuan accommodation subsidy. We only had a small broom and dustpan. The night before checkout, after everyone had gone to bed, I got on my knees and cleaned every inch of the room so I could safely get the full 3,000 yuan deposit back. Two families with kids paid 21,500 yuan to stay at T2 and were treated very poorly. It wasn’t worth it at all. I’ve traveled with children many times, but this is the first time I’ve given a two-star review. Staying at Terminal 2 was more tiring than being at home. Read the reviews carefully and choose your guesthouse carefully, since the operator matters too.
