Ecotourism skim month B & B

The package was good value and covered most of what we needed on the island: three days with a scooter, tickets to different places, four meals including two breakfasts and a packed lunch and dinner on the first day, plus return port tickets. The place was generally clean and tidy, staff were helpful throughout, and we had a great experience. A few things could be better. The room was smaller than I expected, with a mattress on the floor instead of a bed. Some wall areas had mold coming through and could use cleaning or repainting, though it wasn't close to the mattress and didn't bother me much. The outdoor area was nice but got hot quickly and could use more shade. They gave us a basic map showing roughly where things were. I was annoyed that I hadn't been told the schedule clearly, so I left my camera bag behind and missed my chance to take photos. On the night tour, the guide spoke from a bit far away, but the bigger issue was that he switched between Mandarin and Taiwanese. There were at least three foreigners in our group of ten, and maybe a couple from China too, so I wish he'd been more considerate. Mandarin is my third language, though I'm fairly advanced.
