The room felt damp, and there was so much dust around the sofa that I kept sneezing during our two-night stay. Anyone with allergies should think carefully before booking. Overall, it was a really bad experience. We were sent to the guesthouse's partner charcoal grill, Xin Yue Charcoal Grill. The food tasted extremely stale, and everyone in our group needed the restroom the next day. Another person and I developed acute gastroenteritis and food poisoning and had to go to the emergency room for IV drips. The guesthouse seemed to put commissions ahead of food safety. Making a living through commissions is understandable, but businesses still have a responsibility for their customers' lives. Food poisoning can be serious or mild. We should have checked the restaurant's poor reviews, and the stale food was also something we overlooked. Check reviews before choosing this place, or you might end up taking a day trip to the Xiaoliuqiu Health Center like we did! 🤓 The cars were generally convenient, though one stretch of road had no streetlights and felt a bit dangerous. The owner was all smiles, but her manner came across as sarcastic. When she saw we'd rented a car from another company, she seemed nervous, then gave us a strange smile and asked why we hadn't contacted her first. We had asked in advance, and the guesthouse said a driver's license was needed. Since we didn't have one, we rented electric bicycles instead. Then came her "professional smile" service. Our travel companion felt uncomfortable too. We all like cats, but when we casually mentioned that one was meowing, the owner immediately said it wanted canned food and would keep meowing without it. It's hard to put the situation into words, but from check-in onward she kept hinting that we should feed the cats, which got very annoying. Maybe we're just more sensitive. The rooms are simple, but really clean, maybe cleaner than the trendy guesthouses. There's a water dispenser and free Wi-Fi outside, and the lucky cat is fun to look at and play with, if it's home and not off having fun. It all feels homely. The guesthouse is a short distance from the city center, with the always-crowded Xiangsi Noodles nearby. You can walk to the beach to see the sea, pick up shells, and listen to the waves. The young staff member seemed cool at first, maybe he was putting on an act, but his service was actually good and not pretentious. One time, while drinking a methamphetamine-flavored beverage, he took off his mask and turned out to be pretty handsome. Maybe he's had cosmetic surgery, I guess. Can anyone help me figure it out? The housekeeping lady was friendly too, and I loved breakfast the next morning. I'll bring family and friends next time.

The stay was awful, and I won't return. The place sits quite high up, so riding a motorcycle there was difficult. It was raining, and the landlady kept nagging us the whole way after we arrived in our raincoats. Our room slept eight, but the toilet was just a single room. There were loads of ants on the table, no toothbrush or toothpaste, and the TV volume was extremely low.

We all had a wonderful family trip, and everyone, young and old, was so happy. The guesthouse is in a peaceful rural area, not too far from the city center. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the surroundings worked perfectly for family activities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast the next day featured local specialties.
