The 302 bus stop is right across the street, which makes this a handy base for Taroko National Park. What really made the stay, though, was spending time with the hosts over dinner. They’re warm and welcoming, and if you’re curious about aboriginal culture, it’s worth chatting with them. Ms.Lin is talented at sewing, and Mr.Dai is a priest with all kinds of special talents. The hotel’s view was superb too. I can hardly describe how great the experience was.

It’s a small family-run guesthouse, close to Taroko Gorge. The facilities were nice and the hosts made us feel very welcome.

The mountains right outside made the stay especially peaceful, with lovely views. The room was cozy and felt like home, and the owners were so kind and friendly. Quite a few parts of the national park were closed when I visited, so I stayed just one night. They didn’t hurry me out when checkout time came around, since they wanted me to get enough sleep to travel safely. 😌
