The buffet breakfast that came with the stay was delicious, with both meat and vegetarian dishes. My corner room had a balcony and a wonderful bath, and everything felt clean and comfortable. Check-in service was great, and the Wi-Fi, shower, and air conditioning all worked very well. It’s an easy walk to the train station and worth the price. Probably the nicest hotel I stayed at in Taiwan.

Being right across from the train station made getting here easy, and the room was clean, comfortable, and convenient, with a nice balcony and a lovely view. The staff were warm and helpful. I came to see Toroko Gorge and asked about renting a bicycle for the park. They suggested the shop across the street and said I might consider a scooter instead. I rented one and had an amazing time. They also told me when sunrise would be and recommended watching it from the roof. I followed that advice and had another beautiful experience. The team knows the area and is happy to help you make good choices.

The room’s terrace access and modern decor worked well for us, and earplugs helped with the soundproofing, which wasn’t great. I could hear loud people in the hallway and noise from outside the patio door. Hesper Hotel was easy to find beside a McDonald's, and we got there on the #33 bus from the local HSR station. The front desk staff were courteous. When my father decided at the last minute to join us, they quickly changed the room and added a bed. He found it comfortable despite usually having back pain.

A handy base for an early start to Taroko Gorge. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. It’s close to the train station and scooter rentals, and they speak enough English to sort out what you need.
