I could happily spend a whole day here reading, listening to music, or just unwinding. The place is clean and comfortable, with a stylish feel and greenery all around. Coffee on the balcony with the mountain view made it even more relaxing.

The guesthouse sits in a peaceful, quiet area, and it’s only about a 15-20 minute drive to Sun Moon Lake Old Street. Inside, the concrete look is softened by warm decor, and the rooms feel spacious. Mine had a bathtub and a large balcony out front. The hostess also served a very generous breakfast. 👍🏻👍🏻

The balcony was a great spot for late-night snacks and looking at the stars, and the snack bar and fridge were stocked with plenty: instant noodles, cola nuts, cookies, Sun Moon Lake black tea bags, coffee sachets, and two bottled drinks. This holiday room at Floating Cloud Wanderer cost $4200 with breakfast, and seems suited to close friends, family, or couples. The bathroom has no door, though, so you’d need to be comfortable sharing the space. The big stone tub has room for two, and a soak after a long day took away all my tiredness. Breakfast was chicken thigh pasta, nothing special but filling, hahaha. The bed was a little hard, but everything else was great. (*≧ω≦)
