Our spacious second-floor studio had lovely interior design, a comfortable bed, and good entertainment options. Staff were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. There’s parking across the street and an elevator in the building. A few quirks: the bathroom is separated only by a curtain-style door, so privacy is limited, and the balcony is tiny and not really usable. Breakfast was tasty, with toast, fruit salad, and tea, brought to the room in the morning. It was served at a Japanese-style low table with seat cushions. We could hear hallway noise and water moving through the pipes when the studio upstairs used the bathroom, as the building carries sound easily. Still a nice place in a good location, with some pros and cons. We’d stay again.

We found it easy to reach the hosts on WhatsApp, and they gave us discount coupons for bike rentals. Breakfast was fresh, healthy, and great every day. Our room was upgraded and luxurious, and the property was beautiful with really friendly staff. The location was great, not too busy or crowded, and close to the bus station.

The car park was a little hard to spot at first, but the spaces are opposite the hotels. Photos of the lots sent before arrival would be appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, and smelled pleasant. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and easy to approach, and gave us guides to nearby restaurants and activities. We stayed one night in April and would definitely visit Sun Moon Inn again next time. Cheers to the ladies, girl power! **Spot the little fellas at the entrance**

The room was roomy and clean, and breakfast was really good. Our hosts were warm, quick to respond, and helped us figure out the lake and arrange transport into taichung city. We had a very good stay.

The room was comfortable, and the breakfast and location were both great. Little things like a fan, chargers, and a mosquito repellent device were thoughtful additions. The staff were kind and welcoming, too. One person was just starting the job, and the colleague training her was especially supportive, even though English wasn't her first language.
