We'd meant to stay in Chishang (Chishang), but the town was fully booked for a big local event. Finding this Airbnb nearby was lucky, it ended up being much better than we expected. Gaoliao has the same beautiful scenery as the more famous Chishang, with fewer crowds, and Route 193 through the small towns is one of Taiwan's loveliest drives. The place was clean and cozy, with a warm family feel, and the hosts were so friendly. We had a lovely stay. Thanks again, highly recommend!

The hosts were so kind and helpful during our stay. They called cabs, shared recommendations, and even did our laundry. Set beside the rice paddies, it's a beautiful spot, and we fell in love with their dog, Chow Mein. Staying here was a real highlight of our Taiwan trip.

The host was super friendly, and we loved staying here. Everything was clean and new, the location was perfect, and breakfast was really tasty. It also introduced us to Taiwanese flavors. Highly recommend! 🤩✌️

I had the most peaceful sleep here, and the rooms are clean. The hosts are the sweetest people, too. This part of Hualien feels like a little slice of heaven, tucked among endless rice and lily fields and close to the Walami Hiking Trail.

A really friendly owner, and the place is quiet and pretty. The room is spacious, with a clean, thoughtful design. If you're after a good night's sleep in a comfortable, clean setting, this is the place.
