We stayed here on both sides of our safari. The room was clean and the food was good. The reception and kitchen staff were helpful, friendly and always smiling. Thanks.

It's a very basic hotel and seems rather run down, though it's right in central Arusha.

It was a nice place to stay before and after our safari, which our tour company arranged. The staff were friendly and helpful. There weren't many guests while we were there, so it was very quiet, with lots of empty tables at breakfast and dinner, but we still had a good stay.

The restaurant felt depressing, and the food was horrible. We've stayed in several hotels in Tanzania, and every one was better than this one. Yet the drinks here were the most expensive, with a beer at 5 USD. They didn't take cards and didn't have enough USD change. I couldn't tell whether the waiter was shy about speaking English, but he spoke so quietly I had to ask him repeatedly what he'd said, which made me feel like an idiot. The rooms are old, though they're adequate for a short stay, and the shower looked very bad. The hotel is at the end of a side alley.

Arusha is beautiful and very scenic, and my room had gorgeous views of Mt. Meru. The room itself was okay, and they left a bottle of water every day. The food was very disappointing and needs a lot of improvement. The staff also seemed unbothered by our requests.
