The restaurant really impressed me, both the breakfast buffet and the menu had loads of choices, and the food was magnificent. The grounds were immaculate, service was awesome, and nobody made me carry my bag. The hotel itself is so beautiful. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the wonderful city of Arusha.

The rooms have a warm, traditional look, with wooden furnishings and an English-rustic feel, plus practical touches like air conditioning and dependable Wi-Fi. Service is another highlight, with attentive, professional staff who make an effort to give guests personal attention. The gardens are lush and carefully kept, and the large outdoor pool offers a peaceful break from the city. Kibo Palace Hotel is in a central but quiet spot in Arusha, and its mix of classic style and modern comfort makes it popular with business travelers and safari-goers.

David from maintenance handled my suitcase problem like a pro. He quickly understood what was wrong, fixed it, and communicated in excellent English. He's a real asset to the team. Everyone at this very nice hotel was welcoming and friendly.

I was told on my first arrival that the pool was open 24 hours, but when I came back a week later, staff said it shut at 6:00 PM. The Manager, Bernad Mukami, also denied me access. Later I spoke with a group of white American guests who said reception had told them the pool was always open unless it was cordoned off. As an Asian woman of color, I found that difference in treatment based on appearance unacceptable. I hope management takes this possible discriminatory bias seriously.

We only stayed one night after a long flight, and I would gladly have stayed longer. The staff and room were very good, and the food and drinks were all good too, with a nice menu for both.
