Rayan Apartments & Safaris

Before heading off on our Serengeti safari, we spent a night here. The apartment was clean, felt safe, and had all the amenities you'd expect. Evenaly, who picked us up and showed us around, was really helpful, always available for rides, and suggested a place to eat. It's next to Faraja Orphanage, and it's nice that some of the apartment proceeds go there. The apartment was good value, and I do recommend it.

We had a great time here. The owners were easy to communicate with, and the place was spacious, very clean, cozy, and well located for exploring the area. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. I'd happily return and absolutely recommend it.

The pool stayed very clean and was well maintained. The place also looks great, just like the photos, but some things need fixing: a few doors were coming off, the kitchen sink was broken, and some door locks didn't work. I gave it three stars because the service was very poor and needs a lot of improvement. The ladies were unprofessional and often so slow that we ended up doing most things ourselves.

Olivia is a great host, and the apartments were clean and fine, with friendly staff. The wall sockets accepted all kinds of plugs, so I didn't need an adapter. Arranging the safari was a poor experience, though, and I wouldn't recommend going that route. The safari itself with miselesafaris was good. We had a friendly driver in a Land Rover who cobbled us all the way into and out of the Serengeti.
