Rich Hotel

It’s a small room, but it does the job. Wi-Fi was reliable, and it was quiet except for the school group visiting at the same time as me. The shower takes a while to get hot, but once it does, the water pressure is good. Service was good, though not everyone at reception speaks English. I’d recommend it and would stay again.

Easy to get to and affordable, so it works well for business trips.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable, with a good night's sleep. A large market in the town center is nearby. There’s also a mosque close by that calls out during the day, though it didn’t disturb me while I was sleeping.

Daniel, the manager, made our stay so easy. He helped with money exchange, booked a safari for us, carried luggage, and even left two bottles of water in the room. Jenny and Alex at reception were kind and attentive too, as were the restaurant, kitchen, and housekeeping staff. Everyone was polite, and one canteen employee even speaks Spanish. The service felt like a five-star hotel. We stayed three nights, first on the 3rd floor and then, after our safari, on the 5th. Both rooms were spacious and clean. The fifth-floor room had a view of Mount Meru, and both rooms and bathrooms were a good size. The hotel is right by the central market in the city center, and the price was affordable for the quality. Breakfast was great, with lots of choices and fresh juice. They made an omelette for you on the spot. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it. Asante sana Daniel and the crew! ☺️
