We arrived at 9pm with a last-minute booking and nowhere else to sleep, and Joyce welcomed us so warmly. She even made us a delicious dinner. The rooms were stylish and memorable, with hot water in each one, and the property was beautiful, with lots of trees and a nice garden. There’s a very sweet pup, too. Joyce and her family were fabulous. We’d love to return to Songota Falls Lodge and highly recommend it to other travelers.

The grounds are beautiful, the food was delicious, and the quiet was just what we wanted. We had a wonderful two-day stay before setting off on safari, and enjoyed the walk to the waterfall.

I’d stayed at Songota Falls before and expected the same great service, but Joyce made this visit even better. Our overnight stop after the airport and before heading to Serengeti worked out perfectly. The rooms were great, the menu was fresh and delicious, and the views and fresh air were lovely. We couldn’t fit in a visit to the waterfalls this time because our schedule was short, but we’ll go next time. Thanks to everyone who made the stay memorable. We hope to be back soon.

Mother Joyce is a professional and very welcoming host. She’s accommodating and makes really nice meals. The grounds are peaceful, and there’s a wonderful view from the dining area. Wi-Fi is available in the bungalow. We had an enjoyable stay.
