The garden and grounds were beautiful and well kept, with a fantastic view of Mt. Meru. My family stayed here to rest after a long day of travel, the night before our Serengeti safari, and it worked perfectly. Everyone on staff was kind and accommodating. The restaurant served tasty food with excellent service, and the mango juice we got on arrival was the best I’ve ever had.

For the price, this is a decent hotel with friendly staff and a good restaurant. My one complaint is the noise. The cleaning staff could be quieter in the corridors in the morning. Sound insulation isn’t great, so I was woken several times by people talking in the hallways.

The breakfast was really good, and the hotel is close to plenty of places you can reach on foot. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the shower door kept sticking. What stood out most was the hospitality. The owner even helped us with our luggage when we were heading out on safari. We had a great stay.

We only stayed one night and had a nice time. The room was nothing special, but it was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was nice.

We didn't pick this hotel ourselves. The safari company we used, Ultimate Kilimanjaro, booked it for us, and I wouldn't stay here again. The bathroom wasn't clean, the place felt like a dump, and everything seemed old. The grout looked like it had mildew, either active or from old stains, and the shower drained slowly. The restaurant food was mediocre at best.
