We’ll definitely come back. The food is fresh and delicious, and the staff are lovely, friendly, and helpful. It’s quiet and close to the airport. The rooms aren’t brand new and the electricity sometimes goes out, but that’s okay.

We were there for just one night, and I guess it depends on what you expect. The restaurant was okay, though there were flies everywhere while we ate 🙈. The AC and fan were useful, but the room felt dark, stuffy, and very dusty. WiFi didn’t work about 80% of the time. It’s only five minutes from the airport, which may be why it felt a bit overpriced.

The staff were genuinely helpful with arranging transport, which is easy to find right outside the inn anyway. The place is also a decent option if you want self-contained rooms with WiFi, AC, breakfast, or a barbecue in the evening. Still, it felt like poor value for the price. The plaster and tiling looked cheaply done, and being 7km from Stone town makes the room rates harder to justify. They’d make more sense if you could walk straight out into the famous winding streets, but you need transport to get there.

It’s just 900m from the airport, but the service was awful and the place seemed poorly maintained. The rooms were very dusty and there were no professional attendants. Overpriced for what you get 😢.

Nice, clean room and helpful staff. Just be ready to wait a while for breakfast, pole-pole.
