Best Western Jangwani Sea Breeze Hotel

Breeze Hotel, good job. I really appreciate the management and the helpful, kind staff. The location and rooms are very good, and breakfast was delicious. I do think the lunch and dinner food could be improved, though. Thanks for everything, and for the great service.

The water arrangement was one of the worst parts of my stay at Best Western Jagwani Sea Resort. We were given just two small bottles a day, and every time I asked for more, staff repeated that it was policy. I’d bring my own water if staying here. Service in general was careless and dismissive. Staff seemed overwhelmed and untrained, and even simple requests came across as a bother. The whole place felt poorly managed and nowhere near the basic level of hospitality I expected. For the price and stress, I can’t recommend it. If you’re looking for a comfortable beach stay with decent service, choose somewhere else.

Breakfast was the worst part: the food seemed old, and I saw small mosquitoes on it. When I pointed this out, nobody seemed to care. I also tried to speak with a manager, but no one followed up. The food quality was poor and the customer service was just as bad. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially to anyone concerned about food hygiene. Stay away.

We had a good breakfast with plenty of choices, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond. Our suite was spacious and nicely decorated, with a comfortable large bed, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a TV with Netflix. We stayed two nights and enjoyed it overall. The spa was a real letdown. We’d booked a one-hour Swedish massage and a 30-minute back and shoulder massage, but they lasted only 20 minutes and 9 minutes. We had confirmed the timing with the therapist five minutes beforehand. The massages were probably the worst we’ve had since arriving in Tanzania, and towels weren’t changed between sessions. Several had visible stains. We also ate twice at the hotel restaurant across the street and found the food mediocre, so later ordered from places like Subway and KFC, which were easy to reach and honestly better. The resort has potential, and despite these problems we enjoyed our stay and hope they’re addressed.
