The rooms are on the small side, but they’re comfortable, and I enjoyed my stay at Four Points by Sheraton. I especially liked the ginger tea at reception, a thoughtful touch. The rooftop seafood restaurant is very good and worth a visit. Breakfast was excellent. The Indian chef was particularly attentive to what guests needed, and all the staff were welcoming.

Breakfast was amazing, with coconut water and all kinds of jams. We’re vegan, and they made pancakes without eggs for us. The staff were lovely. The hotel is conveniently near the arrival quay for the Zanzibar ferry, and we just dodged the hundreds of drivers and walked over. It’s close to the national museum, the soldiers monument, food options in the Hindu neighbourhood, and a BRT stop that can take you to the airport. There’s a pool, but it’s quite cold and doesn’t get much sun during the day. The room was great, though I wish we could have opened the windows for natural ventilation.

The room service was consistently good, and the hotel was very clean. I had a very pleasant stay, with a convenient location and a beautiful view of the port and sea area. Special thanks to Mr. Visual and chiefs Mr. Viney and Mr. Keshab for their wonderful hospitality. They took great care with my meals and arranged Iftar in my room, which I truly appreciated during my stay. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dar es Salam.

We were a group of nine and felt so well supported by Christopher and the other bar and front of house staff throughout our stay. The staff were fantastic, and we’re very grateful. It was a good area for us, too. Breakfast was vast and delicious, the rooms were comfortable, and the cleaning team were very nice. Any issues we had were handled gracefully. Thank you!

Mornings were a highlight at Four Points Hotel. The breakfast had lots of sections, all carefully put together, with quality, variety, and presentation that went beyond what I expected. The room also stood out, with an all-white, minimal, clean, essential design that gave it a calm, modern feel. Service was professional and attentive, and the staff were always ready to help in a friendly, efficient way. From start to finish, it was an excellent experience, and a comfortable, memorable stay.
