The service was very good. I liked it, and I’ll come back again.

For $15 a night, this is one of the clean, affordable lodges in Dar Tz. The receptionists are welcoming and ready to answer your questions calmly. There’s a live band in the neighborhood every weekend, so if you want quiet, consider a room at the far end. The supervisor, or manager, doesn’t seem to value visitors and appears focused only on money. He doesn’t check whether you’re okay during a long stay. If a payment is delayed, for example because of a VISA hiccup, they may take your valuables until you pay, even if you haven’t checked out and are still around.

Reasonable room prices, and it’s conveniently close to local and upcountry transport. A quiet, excellent place that feels like home away from home.

Quite nice compared with the surrounding neighbors, and the price is reasonable too.
