The Grand Villa Hotel

Really bad, very bad. The room cost 90,000 per day. At noon, we called the front desk to ask the price for staying until 5pm, and they said 45,000 for half a day, with departure at 5pm. Around 3pm they called to say that 45,000 only covered staying until 2pm, and that we had to leave. I didn't agree, since we'd agreed on 5pm for that amount, and we couldn't change our plans after the hotel changed the terms at the last minute. When we left, we paid 40,000, but they wouldn't let us go and didn't give us 5,000 in change. They said it was the hotel system's rule. Whether I agreed or not, they had told me at 3pm and said I had to pay.

The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Everyone was lovely and smiling. I stayed on 26th June 2024 and had such a great time, I wish I could stay there every day.

The rooms were very clean, and the Swahili food was delicious. The staff welcomed us warmly, and my family and I felt right at home.

We found it very good value for the money. The rooms have AC, and Wi-Fi reaches nearly everywhere, though not the rooms in the farthest corners. The outdoor restaurant has plenty of good food, even late at night, plus Guinness Smooth and other beers. Breakfast was fairly standard, with some items changing from day to day. The staff were kind and understanding.
