The wedding ran flawlessly, and the staff went above and beyond to keep everyone comfortable in our large group. We also had activities each day and entertainment at Dongwe club at night, so there was always something going on. The food and service were amazing, and I loved the Zanzibar-inspired feel of the rooms.

We went to enjoy the warm, shallow sea from the beach. We also visited the photogenic bridge with a café over the water.

The cheeky monkey that stole my bikini was the only amusing downside, and it just became part of the adventure. Otherwise, our stay at Dongwe Club was amazing. The views were breathtaking, the pool was perfect for relaxing in the sunshine, and our spacious room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Food was delicious with lots of variety, and there was entertainment throughout the day to keep things lively. Everyone we met was lovely and welcoming. It was an unforgettable getaway, and I'd highly recommend Dongwe Club for a fun, relaxing break.

We were staying nearby when one of us stepped on a sea urchin, which are plentiful here. We needed to get back quickly to have it treated, and the fastest route was through this property. We waited 10 minutes and spoke with five people, but they still wouldn't let us pass, even with a guard escort. That says a lot about how the place is run. Avoid.

Dongwe is a beautiful, spacious, peaceful wedding venue as well as a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and cooperative, and everyone knows their role. It's really lovely.
