Milele Beach Resort

The food was such a lovely surprise. It's Italian at heart, with local touches that made each meal distinctive, delicious and full of flavor. We looked forward to dining there every day. The staff, coordinated so thoughtfully by Isabella, were friendly and genuine, and their smiles helped make the atmosphere joyful and relaxing. It was our first visit to Zanzibar, for our honeymoon, and everything felt magical. Isabella and her son Nicolò were always there when we needed help, whether arranging excursions, finding a taxi or giving us tips for enjoying the island. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel comfortable every day. Even the creams and shampoos were high quality, and we felt cared for in every way. Omar, who guided our excursions, was knowledgeable and kind. His clear, interesting explanations and local insight helped us connect with Zanzibar's beauty and culture. This was the most beautiful trip of our lives. We're sad to leave, but it feels like a see-you-soon rather than goodbye.

We had lovely dinners with authentic Italian food and excellent service. They accepted Revolut, PayPal and credit cards.

On 4 August 2025, my husband and I were touring all over Zanzibar on a Vespa scooter. We were tired, hungry and worn out from the sun and all the travel when a sign for “Milele Beach Resort and Restaurant” caught our eye. The scooter ride down was a bit bumpy, as expected, but as soon as we arrived we felt relaxed, impressed and amazed by the views, cleanliness, atmosphere, professionalism and service. We weren't staying at the resort, but the owner and staff welcomed us so warmly and checked on us every few minutes. We ordered drinks and food and took in the beachfront view while we waited. The pizza was hands-down the best in all of Zanzibar. Milele made the rest of our tour worth taking. We'd like to thank them for that!

This is an easy 10 out of 10. The rooms were lovely, the location was good, and both the pool and other amenities were very good. The restaurant was amazing too, and everything we ate was delicious. Lisa, the owner, was lovely and made us feel right at home. She went above and beyond for us, and the staff gave us service unlike anything we've experienced. They made us feel like family, as if we were the only guests there. Such a special place to spend part of our honeymoon. We couldn't recommend it more.
