The Bali Resort Zanzibar

The restaurant deserves a mention: the grilled fish was outstanding, and we also really enjoyed the grilled lobster, pasta, and other dishes. The staff were friendly and ready to help. Special thanks to Happiness, who kept in touch and helped set up rides to different attractions. I stayed in a villa this time, and it exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with room for at least six people, plus a relaxing private pool. I’d definitely return and highly recommend the hotel.

The gardens are lush and tropical, kept immaculate, and make the grounds feel like a private oasis. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful details that feel luxurious without losing their warmth. The whole place is so relaxing that we felt at ease as soon as we arrived. What made us feel especially cared for was the team. Happiness, Mave, Malon and Maver at reception welcomed us with real kindness and smiles. Johan the security guard greeted us warmly each day, and Fatima took wonderful care of our room. The whole waitering team were just as attentive and friendly, always going out of their way. I’m sorry I didn’t write down their names. They were also so flexible with our little one. They happily prepared food for him outside the main restaurant hours, and housekeeping worked around his naps by coming back later to clean so he could sleep undisturbed. That care and understanding meant a lot to us.

We spent four nights in a beautiful, spacious villa at Bali Resort, and the private pool was a real highlight. Housekeeping came regularly and kept everything spotless. The food was consistently delicious and high quality, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and always glad to help. There was nothing we could fault. It was a relaxing, memorable stay for the three of us, and we’d definitely recommend Bali Resort to anyone visiting Zanzibar.

Mimi and her staff were excellent, and they couldn’t do enough for us. We had a small room issue and were moved immediately. The room itself was great, and the pool was excellent. The restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices, too. I had a brilliant time at Bali Resort and would thoroughly recommend it. As a grumpy old man, I’d have liked the music a bit quieter, though I’m guessing most people would love it.
