Scam alert, beware! This place is filthy and badly maintained. The towels were so worn they should have been floor mops five years ago. The mosquito nets had huge holes, a real concern in a malaria-risk country. There was no soap in the bathrooms and no drinking water in the rooms. It was a nightmare stay. We’d prepaid for two nights but left after one, only because we couldn’t find another option on such short notice.

The restaurant was reasonably priced, and the sea-view bungalows sit right on Janbiani beach. We had a wonderful stay, with friendly staff. Najmah deserves a special mention: she helped a lot with booking our excursions and was always smiling. The staff seem happy and motivated under her. Keep up the good work.

We left immediately after arriving because of a serious safety concern. A family who were already guests had their valuables stolen from their room while they slept in the early hours of the morning. They were very shaken, and at reception they were dealing with the police and watching video footage of what happened. We raised our concerns with the Owner and were told, “this happens everywhere in the world.” That was unacceptable to us, and we felt we could be the next victims. Avoid this place.

I really enjoyed the fresh food and the humble staff. The beachfront has such a good vibe, and the place has everything you could want. Love from 🇰🇪 🇰🇪 🇰🇪 🇰🇪 🇰🇪

We only stopped in briefly, but the staff were so kind and helpful that we were amazed. Thanks for helping us out! :)
