Great music and a fun atmosphere, with beanbags in another area too. I love NDAME. It's just a few steps from the beach, and you can relax by the pool or on the beach chairs while cocktails and food arrive quickly and efficiently. Towels are free, and there is no charge to enter or use the pool beds.

Beautiful place, clean, and in a great location with beach access. The food is excellent, and it's great for walk-in guests. One of my favorites. Recommended!

It's a shame to see this place's service slipping after four years in a row. The location is still wonderful, but management and service keep disappointing us. We arrive at 10 AM and find all the sunbeds and beanbags marked as reserved, though they sit empty until midday. It seems unfair, and we wonder if unofficial tips to staff are behind it. The bar staff can be arrogant, and service seems to depend entirely on tipping. If you don't tip in advance, you feel ignored.

The room was tiny, extremely humid, and smelled damp all the time. We got seriously sick during our stay. We reported the problem right away and were promised another room after one night, but that never happened. We woke up very ill the next morning, with no follow-up, room change, or accountability. We had to book elsewhere and leave. Checkout was worse. The total was 422,000 TSH, about $165, but without asking, they switched the card terminal to USD and charged $195. I said I wanted to pay in TSH because my card has low foreign exchange fees. The staff member recalculated $195 into TSH and suddenly said the total was 588,000 TSH. That's 166,000 TSH extra, with no explanation. They quietly entered the inflated amount and slid the terminal to me as if I wouldn't notice. This wasn't a mistake. It was deliberate. Avoid this place. This family-run business seems to rely on social media looks, while behind that is poor hygiene, broken promises, and unethical payment practices. They clearly don't care about guests' health or honesty. Stay somewhere else.
