The Coco Paradise

Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, you can come to the bar and restaurant. I had the best pasta on the island here, the Chef Penne. Amazing! The pasta, fish, vegetables, desserts, cocktails, and coffee are all great. The staff make you feel at home, and the decoration is really cozy. This is my favorite spot on this part of the island.

Coco Paradise is a great fit for couples. It feels secluded and safe, but it’s still close to everything, with a beautiful ocean view and less than a minute’s walk to the water. The place is very nice and new, and the owners are super friendly and helpful. We had a really good time. The shower is nice and big, and the bedroom has a very good ventilator. Air conditioning would make it even better. Since the place is brand new, I’m sure that’ll be available soon.

The food was fresh and delicious. I ate fish for my whole five day visit! The rooms are well maintained, and the bathrooms are more spacious than the others around the area. It’s a chilled out place with friendly staff and a very forgetful, always smiling barman. Ali was especially helpful. If you want to swim in the ocean, walk a little farther from the muddy sand in front of Villa de Coco beach. You can also sunbathe on the beach. For an average budget, this place feels like paradise. I’ll be back many more times.

Mauro is phenomenal, so kind and attentive to detail. He knows when to be there and when to give you privacy. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. I especially liked the seafood pasta and the affogati, with more variety than I’ve found elsewhere. It’s a charming spot right on the beach, with open, uninterrupted ocean views. I wholeheartedly recommend this charismatic place in Zanzibar.
