The hotel's brand-new building feels well put together. Everything in the room, from the smallest appliance to the fan remote, is new and works perfectly. The staff are genuinely friendly, and you get the sense they're happy to have you there. Ask for something and they'll bring it. The location isn't the best, but the buggy runs free trips between the hotel and beach, with very efficient coordination through a WhatsApp number you can call anytime. That's also how you request a beach pickup. I'd still recommend getting your steps in while you're on holiday. Housekeeping is excellent. They don't miss small details, even a tiny piece of towel that needs replacing, and the room is spotless every time you return. The garden, with plenty of plants and trees, is a relaxing place to spend time. The gym has enough equipment for a good workout and working air conditioning. The massage was top quality, with an excellent team of masseuses. The kitchen never disappoints, and every dish is cooked perfectly. Breakfast isn't a buffet, which keeps the focus on quality rather than quantity, but you still leave full. They don't serve alcohol, so drinks include mocktails and plenty of other choices, like freshly squeezed juice. My impression is very positive, and the quality for the price is really high. My one complaint is that the pool closes too early, at 19:00, so there's no chance to have a little more fun after spending the day out.

Dinner was absolutely delicious and not expensive. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant is lovely and stays nice and cool in the evening. Definitely worth a visit!

The massages were so good that I had one every day. This place is a real gem in Zanzibar: clean, cute and cozy, with delicious food and delightful, professional staff who made the stay even better. It's not beachfront, but a quick tuk-tuk ride to the beach costs just a couple of dollars. Thanks to the whole team, especially Kevin and Lisa, for making the holiday so special.

We stayed with our two-year-old daughter, and she had a wonderful time. The hotel was comfortable and convenient for us as a family. Although it's not right on the beach, there's a golf cart shuttle that takes about four to five minutes, and the ride was the highlight of every day for our daughter. Our suite was spacious, very well equipped and impeccably clean. The rooftop restaurant served excellent food, including breakfast, with generous portions and lots of choices. The staff were professional, helpful and always friendly, with a great sense of humor. This was easily the best hotel we stayed at in Zanzibar. It's beautiful, perfectly located, and built with great taste and attention to detail. Thank you to the whole staff. They made our stay so pleasant. We'd definitely come back and highly recommend it.

The retreat was the heart of my stay, and Jamila made it unforgettable. She planned everything from start to finish, so the whole experience felt smooth and gave us a peaceful little cocoon where we could switch off, feel safe, and relax. She’s a gifted yoga teacher who really understands the body and adapts the movements to help you flow. I’ve never had a better retreat, and I can’t recommend her enough. I’m already looking forward to coming back with her. The hotel made the days lovely too. My room was very clean, the food was fabulous, and the staff were wonderful and always available. Coming back from being out, we’d be greeted with a cold towel and delicious hibiscus drink. Thank you, Eli, Sadogo, Edwina, Saimon, Amani, Stella, Aisha, Johari, and Mushraf. My time in Samawa was pure happiness.
