The rooms were beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well designed, and the beach access was excellent. The setting is lovely and the location in Paje is ideal for kitesurfing. Shebi at reception deserves special appreciation for his empathy and professionalism. He made us feel welcome and valued from the start, understood what we needed, and went the extra mile to make us comfortable. The whole staff was friendly, helpful, professional, and worked well together. My wife and I had a wonderful experience from arrival, thanks to his leadership and the team. We highly recommend the hotel and look forward to returning.

The food tasted good, though what arrived was always a little different from what we imagined from the descriptions. Still, the room was big and beautiful, the pool was perfect, and the staff were kind and helpful. The beach is close, clean, and protected from vendors. This was the highlight of my Zanzibar stay, a dream location!

The new kitesurfing center, with brand-new equipment, was a great bonus. Mahali has a special heart and a rare mix of lively energy and calm, and I’d gladly return. My room was spacious and beautiful, with a wonderful view. The beachfront location has plenty going on, but inside the property it feels peaceful and secure. Sheby, Lucie, Nema, and Sweety were caring, professional, and ready to help with anything from bookings to a late check-out. I loved my stay at Mahali Zanzibar, it exceeded my expectations.

We took nine lessons with Modesta and had a fantastic time. She’s an excellent teacher, explaining everything step by step and tailoring it to our individual needs with real professionalism.
