Stonehouse Beach Jambiani

I can't think of this place without itching. The stay was incredibly unfortunate. The property is run down, with what felt like nearly an infestation of bugs and ants. Ventilation was poor, and the floors were dirty and dusty. Even after seeing housekeeping clean, the room ended up dirty again from the rusted ceiling fan, with dust that I hope was just dust, bugs on the floor, and, I guess, dirt from outside because there aren't really closed windows. I avoided the towels completely, given the state of everything else. Water drop stains on the bathroom tiles and other touch points, including the soap dispenser and faucet, made me question how well things had been cleaned before arrival. The wait staff were friendly, but the bar had different limits on which drinks and food items were available, and the kitchen didn't look hygienic. It wasn't worth what we paid, and it definitely didn't feel like an 8.8 rated experience. I find the positive comments suspicious. I really wouldn't recommend it.
