I really enjoyed staying at this quiet, smaller hotel. The ocean view is amazing, and the pool is perfect for swimming, about 25-28 meters long. The rooms are ordinary and simply equipped, but I spent most of my time outside anyway. Very good value for money!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we had a very happy week here. We arrived late at night and they had food ready for us. Reception was efficient, and you can reach them on WhatsApp with questions. Our room was comfortable, with a working air conditioner, safe, mosquito nets, and a good mattress. The housekeeping team was friendly and efficient. The hotel pool was great. We didn’t use the beach pool, which is a short walk from the sunbeds. Towels are available from reception with a 10 euro deposit, and you can swap them daily for free. Breakfast was lovely, with crepes, donuts, pastries, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. Lunch at the beach restaurant had good options and nice food, though it could get busy. Dinner was also good, with plenty of freshly prepared dishes, mostly Italian inspired. We liked the all inclusive package, although it only ran until 10pm. The dala dala shuttle to the beach ran regularly from morning until late. The evening shows were enjoyable, and even though they were mostly in English, we could follow them as non-Italian speakers. The rooftop is worth a visit for the sunset views. We hope to come back soon.

The beach was a highlight, with warm water, a big area of hotel guest sunbeds, and a well stocked bar nearby. Kendwa is lively, with plenty of water sports, and Nungwi beach is easy to reach if you want restaurants instead of the resort buffet. Dala Dalas ran on request from early morning to late night. The ride to the beach takes about two minutes, or it’s under five minutes on foot along a gentle slope. Back at the resort, the design mixes modern and tropical styles, and everything was clean. Our spacious room had an incredible balcony view and useful extras like a small fridge. The buffet food was consistently great, with options for different tastes. The staff were helpful when we raised minor issues, and managers Vladik and Igor dealt with them promptly. Many staff members speak several languages. Dinner by the pool and lunch at the beach restaurant were daily favorites. The performers at the evening shows were talented, and the rooftop garden bar had great views, atmosphere, and cocktails. We had a truly lovely stay.

We had a great stay, and the people around the hotel were all very friendly. The place was clean, the food was lovely, and the rooms were fine and tidy. The clean ocean is about a five-minute walk away, with a dala bus passing every few minutes. There are lots of trips you can take around the area. The only downside was rubbish around the beaches, though I believe it will get better over time. Thank you! Jakub and Katerina

I’ve just come back from Zanzibar, where I spent a few days here, and I’m really glad I chose this hotel. It was new, airy, and pleasantly decorated. Our room was a good size with enough furniture, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was kept very clean, with rooms cleaned daily, and they clearly paid close attention to cleanliness. There’s a large pool you can swim in any time. You can get a beach towel from reception with a deposit, and either walk to the beach or take the hotel shuttle. We had soft all inclusive, which suited us. Breakfast included pancakes or crepes every day, along with fruit, yoghurt, pastries, and eggs. There was no ham or cheese. Dinner had pasta and other sides like potatoes, rice, and grilled vegetables, plus chicken or beef, fish, seafood, cold vegetable salads, fruit, and two kinds of dessert. We had no stomach problems from the food. Lunch was served at the hotel’s beach restaurant, which also had free sunbeds, and was similar to dinner. The rooftop bar was lovely, with a nice seating area. There were a few entertainment programs during our ten-day stay. The animator was also on the beach during the day and was a really nice guy. The Masai who work for the hotel were lovely and added to our stay. Overall, the staff were helpful, friendly, and always smiling. There’s another hotel pool on the beach, and that beach was the prettiest I’ve ever seen. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Zanzibar.
