After a long game drive, the pool and bar are such a welcome spot to unwind. We stayed here as a family and found the lodge beautiful and special, with a great location around 30 minutes from the Selous gates. Robert, Eric and the rest of the team were warm and professional. A real gem, highly recommend it.

The camp has a lovely view, and the staff were friendly. We liked the food, but our bathroom was so unhygienic that we couldn't bring ourselves to use the shower or toilet. Dozens of insects came out with the water when we flushed, including a live frog, and more were coming from the sink. Hundreds of ants were in the shower, eating dead insects. Other family members did have a properly cleaned bathroom, though.

We had a really nice breakfast and the staff were friendly. The lodge is beautiful, with a swimming pool that we didn't use during our safari, though we heard other guests enjoyed it. The description from their website is definitely true: Sable Mountain sits in the beautiful Beho Beho hills of Selous Game Reserve, and each banda is set apart with a lovely view.
