Cast Away Residence has become our go-to for sunny family days. The twins love the pool, and the adults are happiest at the beachfront bar and braai area. Some of our best evenings have been spent grilling Wagyu, having drinks, laughing with friends, and watching the moon come up over the ocean. We also finished Jack’s bachelor weekend here, with kites on the beach, good music, food, and even better company. Those memories stick with you. We've had so many great weekends here with family and friends, and it never disappoints. There's an easy island comfort to the place, with a touch of understated luxury that still feels like home while you're on holiday. It's always clean, friendly, and full of good vibes. Whether you're here with family, mates, or just want a quiet seaside escape, this is the spot. Can't recommend Cast Away Residence enough. We'll keep coming back!

Our group had a smooth, enjoyable week, and the host suggested some great activities that we loved. The team was friendly, the interior spacious, and there was a big pool to use when low tide affects most of the island, as it does for 99% of it. The property sits right by a sandy, turquoise beach, and the food was delicious with local inspiration.

The host took great care of us, and the private spaces made it a relaxing, secluded retreat. The beachfront villa has distinctive natural wood interiors that give it a lovely atmosphere. A comfortable stay, highly recommended.

We had a great family vacation here. The house was a good size, the staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the meals. Our host was responsive, gave us excellent recommendations, and arranged activities. We also had an amazing seafood BBQ at the beach bar on the property.

We enjoyed our time at the villa and our trip to Zanzibar. It's a large place with three floors, and Everett is a lovely host. The WiFi is a bit weak, though. There's a guard at the villa gate around the clock, and the village has restaurants and water sports. Sailing and diving are available near Manamba, about a 25-minute drive, followed by a short boat ride right in front of the island.
