Right in busy Paje, this place feels cozy and peaceful. Loved the decor, and both pools were super clean. The pizza was great and the drinks refreshing. Highly recommend it. We’ll be back for our Sundays.

The rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom, mini fridge, sink with a water tap, ceiling fan, air conditioning for the evenings, and a cozy verandah. The beach is an easy ten minute walk away. I stopped in for lunch, which was delicious. The restaurant sits in a tropical garden beside a large pool and feels very quiet and tranquil. There’s also a kiddies pool farther from the restaurant.

Great pizza, terrible service. My girlfriend booked a long stay and paid by the week. They later asked her to pay $10 per week for Wi-Fi, and then a receptionist came by early one morning asking for 20,000 TZS for electricity. That charge hadn’t been agreed, and it’s not acceptable. She didn’t feel safe or welcome, and I can’t recommend the place to anyone. A friend of hers was also robbed on the way to the hotel. That isn’t the owners’ fault, but it’s another reason to stay away.

One of my favorite hotels in Zanzibar. The rooms are perfect, clean, and well kept, with very good value for the price. They also have a plan for power cuts, so there’s always a working fan or air conditioning.
