The all-inclusive package cost extra, but it was worth it for us. It covered meals and drinks, including water, coffee, non-alcoholic drinks, and alcoholic drinks. Try the sangria! The chef deserves a mention too: every meal was delicious. Breakfast and lunch came from a set menu, while the dinner menu changed nightly, which kept things interesting. There was live music at dinner on some nights. We stayed in a partial ocean-view room, with a small dip pool or tub, private sun loungers, and chairs on a little patio. I’d recommend upgrading for those features. There’s also a large infinity pool if you prefer not to have a private setting. The rooms work well for couples, with a private water closet and roomy rain-head showers. The beds were comfortable and had mosquito nets; staff sprayed for mosquitoes and did turndown service each night. There were TVs and small fridges in the rooms, plus fresh water each day. The staff were great, from the conversations to the service. They helped organize excursions and taxis, and the whole boutique resort deserves kudos. This is a must-visit in Zanzibar, and we hope to return one day.

Their hibiscus juice was my favorite. I first tried it as a welcome drink, then had it every morning. The staff were so friendly and sweet, and even gave us aloe leaves for our sunburn and kindly answered our questions. We had an amazing honeymoon here. Our room had a sea view and was very clean and beautiful. The private pool was a lovely place to relax at night while listening to the waves. Breakfast was delicious every morning.

We had a wonderful stay, thanks especially to Sammy, one of the kindest people. He made it really special. The service and hospitality were incredible, and the staff helped with all our needs and trips. Our private suites had little swimming pools, right on the seafront.

Our front-row bungalow at Zanbluu Hotel had a private pool right on the beach, and the food was outstanding. The staff made us feel at home from the start. They were warm and friendly, and treated my four-year-old son with such kindness and care. We had an incredible week at Zanbluu and would recommend it to anyone after a special Zanzibar stay. We’ll definitely be back!

The food changed each day. Some dishes were nice, others just average. Still, we had a great time overall. The resort has a lovely infinity pool facing the beach, and the rooms were good too. They prepared the room daily for mosquitoes and had nets around the bed, so we didn’t get bitten.
