The room felt just right for this kind of destination, authentic, comfortable, and real. I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower, and the setting overall was excellent. I didn’t try the restaurant, but breakfast was included, very good, and more than enough. Staff were kind and friendly. The location is magnificent, with a stunning beach just below and beautiful surroundings. I’m a big fan of Kizimkazi, and the hotel had everything I needed on site. The outdoor gym is unusual and had enough for my training, the loungers overlook the ocean, and the pool is lovely even with the sea only a few metres away. Check-in was warm, easy, and quick. I’d asked for a special touch in the room, and they prepared it with such care and lovely details. Thanks again for that thoughtful gesture. I’d say a big yes to this hotel. I’d read some negative reviews beforehand and felt hesitant, but my stay matched what I wanted. Everyone has different expectations, so I’d encourage people to form their own view.

The staff were what made the stay feel special. They were kind, attentive, and seemed to truly care about guests, with a personal warmth throughout the resort. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very well kept, and every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. I had an amazing time at Aya Beach Resort in Zanzibar and couldn’t be happier. I’d recommend it for a relaxing, high-quality stay, and I’ll definitely return.

We stayed for a week and celebrated my birthday. The food was incredible, and the service and views from the pool and hotel were great too. There’s a diving center near the hotel. We had a perfect experience and could switch off and rest. Amazing place, with a good location and staff.

A peaceful, welcoming spot in the most heartfelt part of Kizimkazi. The sunsets at 6.30 are lovely, and it’s easy to spend a full day here in harmony with nature or stay a few days, soaking up the sunshine and good energy. Relaxing and charming. I recommend it 100%.
