Kiganja Zanzibar

Georgia was lovely and attentive with us. Each evening she made several good dishes tailored to what we wanted. The rest of the staff were caring and really involved, too. The hotel is very clean, has a nice design, and is close to the beach, so it's a peaceful place to relax. There are games for friends or family, which makes it a good option for families. Most attractions aren't too far, and taxis can be affordable if you negotiate well.

The pool was amazing, and the sea is just a minute away. My friends and I had a great stay at Kiganja Retreat Zanzibar. The rooms are clean and new, and the location makes it easy to relax near the beach. Breakfast is included, and they also serve a delicious lunch and a three-course dinner. A special thanks to Georgia, Daniele, and the staff for being so welcoming and making sure we were comfortable. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a beautiful place to unwind.

We stayed at Kiganja while taking scuba courses in Matemwe, and had a great experience. The owner and our waiter, Peter, were especially friendly and hospitable, and all the hotel staff were outstanding. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and having A/C was a godsend. It's an affordable hotel, and we'd happily stay again.

It took little time for this place to grow on us, and by the end we didn't want to leave. The small boutique hotel has just eight rooms but everything we needed. The lovely couple who run it were happy to share information and recommend restaurants and other places in Zanzibar. There's a pool and a restaurant with different meals each night. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day. Right outside, there's a small local shop and somewhere to buy fruit. I'd recommend staying here for a short visit or a longer one.
