The quiet, uncrowded beach was one of the best parts, perfect for relaxing and watching some of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen. From the first moment, Fruit & Spice Zanzibar won us over. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is great, and above all, the people are wonderful. Salome was especially lovely, always smiling, sweet, and ready to help. It’s a whole experience full of warmth, beauty, and genuine hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend it and can’t wait to return.

The calm setting, immaculate rooms, and comfortable atmosphere make this resort feel quietly luxurious. Nothing is overdone, and nothing seems missed. Chef Mohammed deserves special mention: the meals were fresh, full of flavor, carefully prepared, and memorable every time. They matched or even surpassed what I’d expect from much pricier resorts. AJ, the General Manager, runs Fruit & Spice Wellness Resort with clear pride and precision. The smooth operation and sincere, warm hospitality across the property reflect his leadership. Guests feel welcomed, not managed. This is the best hotel stay I’ve had, with remarkable quality, service, and value. Fruit & Spice is a rare mix of luxury, authenticity, and real value for money. Our bungalow was lovely, tucked into lush greenery and giving us privacy and a peaceful tropical feel. Salome was especially kind and warm, and her professionalism made the holiday even better. The resort is in a beautiful spot, with a stunning beach and a very relaxing atmosphere. Food was good and varied, and everything was well organized. We chose Fruit and Spice Hotel for its private beach and the jungle around the property, and it turned out to be one of our best decisions of the trip. The resort sits in lush tropical forest and feels surrounded by nature. We were lucky to see monkeys in the trees and even bush babies at night, which made the stay feel special and true to Zanzibar. The beach was peaceful, clean, and away from the crowds found elsewhere on the island. It was lovely for swimming, relaxing, and taking in the turquoise ocean views. We also loved that the hotel gives shelter to homeless island cats, letting them stay there when it’s hot or raining during rainy season. They were friendly and made the place feel homely. As animal lovers, that really touched us. The food selection was amazing, always fresh and made with local produce. I recommend trying the local cuisine. Ajay gave us a warm welcome, and Salome and Amur were wonderful, as were all the staff, who were extremely helpful. Between the nature, comfort, beach, wildlife, and kindness to animals, it was a memorable, heartwarming holiday. Thanks, Fruit and Spice, for a great stay. 🐒🐠🌴
