We were at a nearby resort and wanted to try somewhere local close to our hotel, but the meal was a complete disaster. The shrimp tasted extremely fishy, and we found a fried fly in our pilau. We paid the full bill anyway and left straight away. How does this restaurant have a 4.8 rating?

After 11 days in Kizimkazi, trying most of the local restaurants, Salida was among the top. The curry with chapati was exceptionally good. It also has an exceptional ocean view, and it felt like a fly-free zone, which is very rare in Kizimkazi.

Salida Beach was so peaceful, the sound of the sea made it a lovely escape from everyday hustle and bustle. I spent two nights there for my anniversary, and we filled the days with activities that made the stay unforgettable. We explored the hidden wonders of Salam Cave and went dolphin watching, where you can swim and enjoy the playful dolphins. Best of all, they arranged a romantic dinner for me that had us laughing all night. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious. The staff gave exceptional service too. Salida Beach is a must-visit, and of course, a great anniversary destination!

We only stopped in for lunch. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot, and the staff were really friendly. They also have some nice bungalows.

The ocean view made our visit especially memorable. My wife and I were delighted with the whole experience: the staff welcomed us warmly and took good care of us, and the food was fresh, well seasoned, and beautifully presented. We’d happily recommend it to anyone after good food and lovely scenery.
