Kili Villa

A lovely, restful place to pause before our safari. We spent two nights here, then headed off for four nights on safari. The homemade food was delicious, and the friendly, caring staff made the stay. Our room was roomy, with comfortable beds and a nice outdoor bathroom. We were glad to have the pool on a hot, sunny day.

The garden was a highlight for our family. Little deer came right up to the yard in the mornings and evenings, and having breakfast and dinner near them felt magical. The kids also loved splashing in the pool, and the candles and cozy garden fire made evenings feel special. Inside, the house was beautifully decorated, with a private butler and an in-house chef who made meals just how we liked them. We also enjoyed fresh tea and herbs from the garden. The house is in a lovely park with a golf course, close to the international airport, and gave us a warm, welcoming sense of Africa from the moment we arrived. It was a relaxing mix of nature and comfort, and we found the stay unforgettable.

We spent a weekend here with friends and loved the meals, which were prepared and served for us. The house has about five rooms, with a roomy hall where we played board games and a veranda for eating outside. There’s a small pool for cooling off in the daytime, and a fire pit in the backyard for cozy evenings. We also went for long walks, watched birds, and enjoyed the sunsets. A lovely countryside place for a few days or even weeks, with family or friends.

After landing in Tanzania, we stayed here for two nights before heading out to the parks. There are several villas on the property, and depending on the size of your party, you may share one or have it to yourselves. Our villa was well equipped, with a very nice dining area. The chef prepared breakfast and dinner on site and served them at the table, and the food was very good. Brenda, our housekeeper, took wonderful care of us and was always available. A good first stop when flying into Arusha or Kilimanjaro.
