If you want to walk or run along the beach without anyone bothering you, snorkel or scuba, and fall asleep and wake up to nothing but waves, this is the place. A hidden gem in Zanzibar, away from tourist spots and big resorts.

A lovely, quiet beach resort, away from some of the bigger resorts and right by the water, with gorgeous sunrises. The pool area was nice, the food was good, and the attentive staff were wonderful. It's kid friendly too. Can't wait to stay again!

I've travelled solo and with friends and have always felt welcome, safe, and looked after here. It's peaceful and relaxed, with a stunning location that feels like a home from home. The staff are wonderful, and Jamal the manager is especially kind and helpful. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.

I've visited this hotel several times over the years and really love it. The garden pool area is beautiful, the food is great, and the rooms are amazing for the price. The location is unbeatable, right on the peaceful, beautiful beach in Matemwe, in one of the island's quieter corners with no big resorts around.

Our beachfront bungalow was right by the water, and we loved watching the sunrise from bed. On the island's east side, the sunrises really are magical. It's a nice bungalow-style hotel, and breakfast was good, with fresh fruit and eggs made to order. The staff were helpful, and the location is great if you're after a peaceful holiday.
